At the center of IRM’s patent-pending technology is a powerful product called SmartLabel®. SmartLabels are dynamically generated at the point of sale, or shipment, and contain information-rich barcodes, which can provide such information as the product being returned, the reason for its return, serial numbers, and RMA numbers as well as detail about the returner. When an item is returned, these intelligent barcodes enable the receiving company to complete and immediate visibility of the entire return chain.
